Through the Eyes of Fall

Alrihkh Another spacious sky of gentle sounds great to set one’s mind free in for a flight of fancy. I gave this artist high marks for his album ‘Queen of Wands’, & this one, too, provides me a great ambience to write to. It’s quite a mystery to me that not many folk have added it to their collection. Thank you, Wolfgang! 8/10. Favorite track: Through the Eyes of Fall.

The making of this album took me back to 2004, when I started to really get into recording: Using only my guitar, effects, and the tools availabe in the sequencer program I hoped to create something that was somehow better than its individual parts.
This time I also used guitar as the main instrument, but also keyboard- and guitar-based synthesizers, field recordings, samplers, and my voice, drawing on over a decade's worth of experience in recording and producing. Special thanks go to my collaborators Pontifex Maximus and Calvin Bamboo.
As in my more experimental works, the album is held together by an abstract narrative flow.

A lot of time and hard work went into this project and time is always getting more scarce. If you want to support further projects like this, please consider donating using the buy link of this or any album or track. If you cannot afford that, I value every curious listener and welcome any download all the same.

Thank you and enjoy!

"I want to tell stories with my music. Stories without text, without plot, more like a (not-so-)blank sheet, a musical frame in which I can imagine stories or story fragments. I like the idea of having space for my own feelings and emotions while listening to music and that is what I try to provide for my listeners as well." ... more
